Responsibility Overview:
One of the major functions will be daily sourcing and researching for a niche recruiting company with a national presence. You will get to work primarily in the software, security, storage and biotech industries identifying qualified applicants through extensive networking for existing open career opportunities. Predominant disciplines are software & QA engineers, marketing, sales and management. You will present top applicants to the talent architect in various forms of conversation, resume, prescreen and interview notes. As in all small companies, there will be lots of undetermined work and you will have the ability to shape your own role through superior performance.

Sample Daily Tasks:
 Identifying qualified applicant pools in competitor companies
 Conducting phone screens on qualified candidates
 Establishing and working with job description guidelines
 Setting up groups and running queries in ACT!, outlook and on the internet
 Spreadsheet creation, input and upkeep
 Generating and following up on leads
 Writing job descriptions
 Conduct background and reference checks as needed
 Various scope and adhoc research projects
 CDG Resume Formatting
 Golfing, cycling and other fun activities to break things up and stay pumped
 Contact/Applicant data entry into ACT

Required Skills:
Flexibility, determination, humor and focus a must. Required skills include experience in and knowledge of the recruiting function, special consideration given to actual research work in a large retained firm. As an entrepreneurial spirit, you of course will be highly motivated and able to work independently. Great communication skills to call into competitor companies to identify applicant pools, speak directly with potential applicants and screen them for their interest in new opportunities, extract skill sets and match experience levels. Must have internet and email strengths and advanced capabilities and love to use them and grow in this capacity. ACT! Database experience preferred.
